My 12v RO (Reverse Osmosis) plant is rated at 9 gallons per hour, with a membrane pressure of 800 psi. Warm water is easier for it. In cold water it might not be as productive. The vessel carries 80 gallons across two tanks.
So for this 5 hour cruise I can expect better than half full tanks.
At the end of filling tanks, I divert water into jugs and use that as drinking, to be certain to avoid any contamination, or pressure pump failure.
The cost of having water delivered out in the anchorage is about the same as the fuel I burned. But, RO plants like to be run regularly so they don’t get fouled up.
Off to make more water..
